What did you do for your 40th?

Someone mixed up my age today and thought I was 40 next month

So it got me thinking what should I do for my 40th birthday. I now have a year and one month to plan. I suppose the usual option would be a meal with freinds, I have some nice resturants round my way so that would be the regular option.

So what did you do?

wifey booked suprise holiday to new york !
we had a fab time, ice skating in the park,all the touristy sightseeing, i even treated her to a present from tiffanys as a thank you.

I was stood on the viewing platform of the empire state building on the morning of it last August. I went over the day before for 5 nights, New york was always a place I wanted to visit and I loved it.

Had a combined birthday and divorce party organised by a couple who were my friends.
Pulled their 17 year old daughter so they became my ex-friends!

Not my fault, they made me drink beer!

Friday night took over a floor of an Italian Restaurant with invited friends.
Saturday late afternoon had chartered a solent cruise boat & went for a cruise around the Solent with a buffet & Disco.

Sunday was a wipeout.

I can't remember, but would have been a 2 or 3 week holiday somewhere. I'm sure if I looked back into the records I'll find out where I went to...but only 10 years on, it wasn't that important
