I've never seen a word like it!

I took the wife to London today as it was her birthday. She wanted to go to Selfridges, while browsing around some of the most over priced items i've seen for a long time i noticed a sign in the book department. "Unputerdownable" Not just written in one place but all over the section. Is it just me or has that word just been made up to make them look stupid? Or am i just looking stupid?

Do you mean 'Unputdownable'? If so, then whilst it's not a word, it is in fairly common useage. So I suppose it is a word then...

If you search on "unputerdownable" almost all the responses are from Amazon.
