Just thrown coffee all over myself!

Just tried to sit down with a coffee at work. As soon as i got sat down, the hand holding the coffee got a static shock from the laptop at the side of my desk. Bam! Coffee absolutely everywhere!

If I couldn't laugh about it I'd cry. What a wally!

Could be worse, you could be Emsman.

You would have spilt coffee on you which would have burned off all your skin. That would have made you jump and yell so hard that you would have sprained your throat, and fallen into a sensibly placed floor lamp, damaging the bulb glass causing cuts whereupon the still-live bulb filament would be immediately forced into the cut giving massive electric shock, causing you to roll into the puddle of coffee which would then re-boil...

I guess you see what I mean. You are a very, very lucky survivor of an incident that could have been so much worse if fate was not on your side - or if your name was Emsman
