Oh Dear..

Yup - I've been a fking monkey and sat on my glasses and you guessed it, fking broke!

So, what do I do now? I've only got one set.. I've managed to put one frame back through the glass but the other one is fked They are frameless glasses, so quite expensive. I am pretty pissed off to be fair but can only blame myself!

If I go tomorrow what is the likely hood that Optical Express can fix them there and then, or do they have to be sent away? If they do, I am fked!

Many High Street opticians can make them on site from scratch in hours. If you have your prescription, or they do, or the lens is still intact enough to measure it, I'm sure someone can sort you out. It might not be cheap, I suppose, so maybe seek out a BOGOFF offer if you can- pretty sure D&A are offering me this at present.

I thought only Vision Express has in-store labs. Could be wrong.

Get some contact lenses? They're not everyone's cup of tea but I've yet to sit on one and they have the added advantages of not steaming up or falling off or sliding down your nose. You don't need to buy prescription sunglasses either.
