Indeed.

When changing jobs it takes about 6 months for my built in alarm to reset itself...

Nothing better than waking up, looking at alarm then turning the whole thing off and settling backdown to sleep. Hmmmmm sleep.

Silent and if I wake up early (which I usually do) then so be it.

I'll usually wake up at the same time. Might lounge in bed for half an hour and then get up, but I won't sleep any later. Unless I've been out the night before and didn't get in until late.

I never seem to sleep later than 9 am now anyway so silent sleep in for me.

I generally have a tendency to wake up at a similar time regardless - but this can often be before the alarm by a good half hour or so. Dozing back off and being woken 30mins later by the alarm when I don't actually have to get up pisses me off royally. Another reason why I turn it off is that I will often be up late the night before because I don't have anything to get up for so any disturbances early on really don't go down well.

Having a toddler who routinely wakes up around 6am means it matters not whether it's a work-day, weekend or holiday - who needs an alarm?! biggrin

I usually wake up half an hour before my usual alarm time.

So even if I don't set it, I am awake.

The alarm is always off outside of work days. Frustratingly, rarely sleep beyond 7-30am

16, however, means you're the one encouraging them to get out of bed because it's 1pm.

I don't bother with the alarm. Usually wake up about an hour later than usual and sit and drink coffee for an hour or so smile

Fear that I'll forget to reset the alarm makes me leave it on and get woken up early on the weekend.
