Discussion
So me and a few mates are down the pub at the weekend, few pints leads to a few whiskies.
We got on the subject of race, now my best mate of well over 20 years is asian, so I'm not racist but happy to partake in banter here and there,
Next thing I know I have an email (a bloody email FFS!!!) saying how he felt, I honestly thought he had found out about me and his missis so the racism thing is quite small in comparison so I decided to leave it and not reply.
Shall I bother emailing him back?

Hmm, I think if hes gone to the bother of emailing you he's obviously quite upset. Maybe he was too full of rage to meet you face to face and felt an email was the best way to let you know his feelings.
But the important thing is how you write the email. Set its all out clearly in paragraphs and I can't stress enough make sure you sign it
Regards. That will show how much you value his friendship
