Quickie. How much do you spend per day, as part of your daily working activities? This would include travel to and from work (train/bus ticket - split per day if it's a season ticket, parking at the station/work, petrol), lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, coffee, cigarettes during coffee breaks etc etc etc.

I'm asking as I seem to have been spending a load of cash recently - £10 notes don't last very long, and lunch is usually pushing a fiver or so. But I cycle to work (not quite free, as bikes cost a bit to run), and I don't go to coffee shops, so I guess I'm spending around £5-£6 a day at the moment.

You?

Oli.

Are we including the cost of bread and sandwich filling, and the amount you spend on suits divided the number of days per annum that you wear them?

If not, then zero. I snag the girlfriends car most days for getting to work hehe

£2.40 bus (Return), unless i can be bothered to walk.
£4.00 lunch, unless i can be bothered to make something.

I think that's about it really, unless beer comes into the equation.

Probably about a fiver on petrol, and 6 squids on food throughout the day.

But a coffee couriered from South America. Paying the same amount of money for a cup of coffee as for an entire lunch is surely not accurate, even in the Big Smoke?

Myself - about £2 a day on fuel, 50p for breakfast and 50p for a drink. Tea/Coffee is free and lunch comes from home.

Petrol is about £3 a day, and that is usually it, apart from the odd trip to Sainsburys for a spot of midweek shopping.
