I'm guessing his repatriation will cost a lot less than keeping him here in a Council house with benefits, free health care and education (and the same for his subsequent wife and offspring) for the rest of his/their life/lives.

I was speaking to someone who was deported from Oz 6 years ago, they are still chasing him for the cash for the ticket.
