Where are all the Scousers?
Discussion
This is a genuine question.
While having a shave this morning I started thinking about Scousers. I grew up in North Wales - the Scouse Riviera. The bit of North Wales I grew up in, whilst Welsh, has a bit of a Scousey accent which I definitely had but which has been gradually eroded over the 20 years I have spent in the less green but more civilised and much more crowded South East.
During my working life I do seem to have worked with all bits of the UK - where I am now the bloke who sits next to me is from Newcastle, there is another one from Sheffield, a couple of ubiquitous Aussies, and of course lots of cocker-neys.
But it has been a long, long time since I have met a Scouser.
Are they an endangered species - or is it just that they don't leave their nesting grounds and venture further afield?
Hopefully PH has the answer - in between the "dey are all down de dole office or stealing hub caps la' " answers.

^^ In terms of Dans posting, it is because his chemical balance doesn't work unless he has typed a post within the last hour. Its like oxygen to him
And yes, I do believe that in my few years on this planet I have never met a scouser who wasn't just on holiday, waiting to go back. I think they must like it up there, wherever 'up there' is.
