Whilst cleaning my garage out yesterday i came across this weird looking spider!
It was about the size of a 2 pence coin, tiny little black legs & the body which was big in comparison to it's legs was bright yellow. I mean this thing didn't look like any other spider i have seen before. Are they common or do i have a beast in my garage? biggrin

Dunno, but after 5,000 posts I'd have thought you'd have realised this is the wrong forum.

Am I the only one who was expecting a question about oil consumption on an Alfa Romeo?

Pah, more people get to read it here rather than in some geeky forum where nobody looks. wink
& if my question was about an Alfa, it also would have been in the wrong place! biggrin

If it is black and yellow it is a garden spider and harmless (possibly) if it is yellow it could be a yellow sac spider and dangerous (possibly)

If you stand on it while wearing stout shoes it will be harmless whatever it is.

Nope to either. I will do a search later to try and establish what kind it was. If i see anything that looks like it, i will post the pic up.

I have done a google search & none of them look the same. I am beggining to think that what i saw was some sort of inbred garden spider.
