They are clients after a good night, 30 something's out to enjoy a good weekend.
Mainly bars and pubs, maybe a club depending on how the night goes. Something vibrant but not chavvy. I've been to Apres before and that kind of place is perfect, but need some more inspiration.
Cheers

Try the Arcadian Centre.
Sobar & Bambu being the two bars I'd try first:
http://www.sobar.co.uk/
http://www.bambubar.co.uk/
Plenty of other bars and pubs around there too.
Then onto whatever's happening at Penthouse if you want a decent club:

If you want a slightly edgier club then there's Mint not far away and a generic Oceana full of slappers just opposite.

You've also got the Glee club for comedy and a sodding great casino just around the corner. Chinese, Japanese Italian and Brazillian restaurants too.
Best part being you won't have to walk any longer than five minutes to get from any one venue to the next as it's all packed in around there.

Harbourne run
Always been known to me as the the Harborne Mile and although it has got easier with pubs closing down still quite a challenge and great fun, very rarely do you finish with the same number you start with although in the past we have picked up a few extras on the way down. Cheap taxi to Broad street then from the bottom end so those who can deal with it can sweat off some beer dancing in town.
