ish. The camera car stops a couple of hundred yards from out house, so it can be seen in the distance, but you can't see any detail. For the neighbours who live round the corner into the close, they are not on it at all.

My old house is on there, I can even tell you the time of day as there is a beer delivery at the pub next door.

They managed to get the East wing, part of the staff quarters and some of the moat, the rest is out of view.

For all those shouting re-post, our house wasn't on Google street view until today.

Actually I don't think reposts are necessarily a bad thing however when this was posted the main thread was only three threads lower.

Anyway - my house is on Streetview and I think the photo was taken late last summer.

Ours has been on there for months. My parents and in-laws are on there now though, which is new.

I think you'll find everyone's went live today. That's why it's a hot topic on PH atm. Keep up! smile

Crikey, can see my car on the driveway.

Impressive how they've managed to blank out all of the number plates, that must be a nifty bit of imaging software that's able to do that!

Me, the wife and neighbour are all stood in the driveway having a chat.

We remember the car coming round. It was Saturday morning in early / mid December 2008.

What's strange though is how the overhead view has our new Jazz in the drive, but the streetview has the old one. This is perhaps less dramatic than our village shop. Fully built and open in overhead view, but you drop down into streetview and find a building site.

Bit like a continuity error on some dodgy sitcom.

Good catch - I hadn't looked.

My houses are not, however my mums bum is. She's moved to a little house in Devon and there she is bending over doing some weeding in the garden. laugh

Mine is - and my car is aswell - twice.

From either side of my house, you can see my car, but from right outside, it's a photo from a different day, and my car isn't there!

Streetview can be handy, a colleage had to visit a building he had never been to before, I was able to look it up and show him what it looked like.

Yep, my Track Car is parked outside but my Audi S4 isn't.... and it's really annoying me as I can't find it at any of my usual haunts.
