OK, so you get home from work one evening to find that your O/H has run off with your best mate, and they've taken your dog too!
Which one, if any, would you miss the most?

I would have made this a poll, but don't seem to have the option any more??

If my trusted other half had run off with my trusted best friend then without doubt it'd be the dog.

Speaking from experience. The dog.

The other is welcome to the other ones .

Threads like this make me want another dog.. We had one but he died, had him since a few years before I was born so grew up riding on his back and being knocked over by him for my Ice Cream etc.

Nicely put actually, although our dog did shat in his bed last night. So I would probably get so drunk I wouldn't miss anyone and pull a minger.
That's nothing! Mrs Orb(s) and I woke up the morning festooned with snoring cats (if 3 cats is enough to be festooned with).

One of them had done a poo right next to me On the duvet yikesvomit

Ok that would not impress me one bit, unless it was a medical reason for it. It's bad enough when I wake up to one of four legged tribe vomiting somewhere and trying to find them at 3 in the morning!

And yes 3 cats is enough to be festooned esp when one of them is a large fluffy maine coon smile

As above, if your OH and mate can breach your trust in that way, then it's the dog(s) every time.

The dog, GF just had to re-home her's.
I was absolutely devastated, more so than her.

You could lock the dog under the stairs in the pitch black for 4 hours and it would still be pleased as punch to see you when you let it out...

Says it all!
