Thats fantastic.
Worth noting that a fast internet connection is needed to download it.

Why was it when i was at school everything was so boring. With that sort of thing i would have paid attention.

Probably because the moment you achieved the mental reasoning capacity to understand complex theories coincided with the one where you discovered tits, fannies and booze.

That is epic, something like that really does help you get your head around how insignificant we are in the grand scale of things.

Well, that didn't have the same effect as the Total Perspective Vortex.

Very nice though!

Seeing as noone else had quoted THHGTTG yet:

"Space," it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space, LISTEN!" and so on..

Nice wee flash animation thing that - good find!

Absolutely awesome. Could not BELIEVE the size of some of those stars. Or how ridiculously small a neutrino is!

Now that is simply amazing! Crazy how much significance we actually have in the universe. From the looks of this I would say... none.

Slider in middle = Man sized things

move slider left = smaller things

move slider far left = smallest (theroised) things

move slider right = bigger things

move slider far right = biggest (known) things

Very impressive piece of work.

Distance is an illusion and all places are in fact the same place, it's just that although all places are in fact the same place, that place is very big.
