Thats where I've booked, only £105.

If you can find a decent deal (they often seem to be doing half price rooms) the Malmaison is much nicer than the Royal Oxford.

Are we talking walkable in to town, or taxi-able?

ETA : or bus even, the service around Oxford itself is quite good.
