One of the minions is being sent up to Sunderland next week for three days and he's moaning about it.

Any advice as to what to do so he doesn't get bored and spends all his free time wking in his hotel room watching ste porn?

^^ Good advice, find accomodation around Newcastle Central Station or Quayside areas, plenty of hotels, lots of places to eat/drink/shops, and Sunderland is about 30 mins away by train.

Brilliant! I only know 2 people from Sunderland... And one of them looks like he could be the farther to one of those kids in the front row of that picture!!

The other person is his wife - if I had a dog that looked like that, I'd shave it's arse and teach it to walk backwards.

If you want do's and dont's then Don't call the locals Geordies, or sleep with the local girls. If he can stay in Newcastle that would be a better idea as would staying almost anywhere else within about 20 miles of Sunderland, on the plus side there are tons of great roads nearby if he likes that sort of thing.

Even when it was open it looked closed, it could still be open now. Awesome place the only club in the UK where trainers and a Berghaus jacket were essential as prt of the dress code.

Been to Sunderland once walking round the center trying to find a restaurant that looked OK was particularly testing. Pound shops seemed to be the main retailer of the center.

Tell him to shake his keys and ask whom they belong to, they love that thumbup

I like how this has turned into a Sunderland AFC bashing thread from a certain Mag fan...at least our team members aren't punching each other eh wink

Looking forward to next season's derby games, easy 6 points whistle
