Doesnt mean it will settle, especially in cities - you need several days of sub zero temperatures to cool surfaces enough to allow snow to settle.

-2. "Feels" -10 due to wind chill. Thermometers will show -2.

Still: enough to have frost and for snow to lie. Winter's last gasp, methinks.

I was reading the other day that this summer is going to be a very hot one, this was from a weather agency that has 'out-predicted' the Met Office for the last few years.

I know - but to be fair mate, if it feels like -10, it's -10 as far as my shrivelled knackers are concerned. wobble

Have you thought about getting dressed occasionally when you go outside?

Christ, no boy. We can't afford proper clothing oop north. It's hard enough getting the money to fill the metal tub with warm water once a week.

Of course, by now everyone has worked out what they'll do if it snows again. Everyone will have learnt from their experience in January and will have plans in place to get to work/school etc...

<wakes up>
No, everyone will just sit around complaining again about someone else not doing something else about the snow. Personal responsibility - yeah, right.
