The OP has put up a new thread but he was actually right first time.

The quote he was aiming for was presumably "out of the mouths of babes", which is an abbreviation of a quote from the King James version of the Bible - "out of the mouths of babes and sucklings".

(at least according to one of those dictionaries of quotes and phrases I read a while back....)
