We used to go here and it's good for dogs and kids. Used to take 3 hours from Essex if you drive at night.

This one at Eskdale Green in the Lakes is a bit of a kids' paradise... only site I've been to where camp fires are allowed too smile

We are off to Lytton Lawn a Shorefield site near Lymington in June. Theres a small play park for the kids, and the sister site just down the road has a larger play park and indoor pool. Not sure how many dogs you are allowed though.

Havebeen to Park Resorts at Kessingland, wouldn't go near it again, although there is another site nearby which looked lovely. Don't know about dogs though.

Last year we were on a site near Bude, actually in a mobile home paid for by inlaws, but there was a campsite, however the tents were very oppossed to the wind off the sea!

However will be interested on views of others.
