It is indeed lovely being able to go out to the garage and work on the car without having to wrap up like someone on a polar expedition.

By the coming Monday, we'll have had nigh-on a week of 12deg+ days and mild longer evenings. If the weekend is a good one, I predict women across the land will suddenly have be of sunny disposition and positive outlook in time for Monday morning.

Loving this too. Especially as I now have a new garage, with a big window at the back (south facing) and a large work area. Plenty of space for car tinkering, model car tinkering and other random DIY.
Still might have to get a little radiator or something in there though, can get chilly.

Yup - nice to be able to get outside in the evening and get on with jobs I've only been able to do at weekends until now.

And, as my O/H mentioned last night, that's the heating off until at least the end of September.
