Ascot - Ladies Day - Where do I need to be ?

My wife used to go many years ago so I thought I'd take her this year.

I quick look on here:

Shows grandstand, silver ring and car park 8 prices etc.

So would I be correct in thinking Car Park 8 is simply the nearest car park and silver ring is a reasonable area or is it worth the extra for the Grandstand etc.

Silver ring at ascot is miles from the finish line at ascot. If your making a proper day of it go for the grandstand
