Lie in until 10am.
Casual wander around/shopping in the sunshine in Poole, lunch in Slug and Lettuce.
Back home, bbq pork and chicken outside in the garden under a clear warmish sky, trying out the new fire basket, much wine and some music on the SoundDock.
And so to bed, cats at my feet, bit of Pistonheads, some nice music on youtube and a glass of 12 year old Aberlour.

I don't ask for much in this life.

I was up in Inverness.
Got up, had a lovely breakfast in tesco, Bacon, Sausages, eggs and fried bread.
It was a beautiful day. Nice and warm. Hit about 19/20.
Drive along the side of Loch Ness, to Fort Augustus where we sat on the grass and watched some boats go up the 'locks'. Got an Ice Cream.
Back to a park in Inverness where we lay in the sun for about an hour or so...
then went to a Highland league match...Clachnacuddin Vs Forres. Finished 1-1.
Before heading back to my home town of Aberdeen. biggrin

...Then I noticed I had been burnt.

But not at the same time.

I went for a blooming good hoon on a newly found 'good' road. Windows down, music up and the engine in my euro box actually sounded nice for a change.
Made me forget about the rest of the s**t thats going on at the moment.

My day was also a good day smile

This weather is brilliant! Everyone is much happier!

I was up at 8
Let the other half sleep in until 10, so played 2 hours of Call of Duty
Then went to town for a spot of quick shopping
Then went to the local country park with some food, sat in the sun eating, then met up with some friends
Went from there for a 2 hour drive, enjoying it with the windows down
Then back home to relax until now, about to go to bed

Excellent day!

Pistonheads meet tomorrow, so that'll be good too!

I woke up and found a spider on the edge of the duvet.

That was by far the most eventful moment of the day.

But the weather was nice smile

Sadly not, no.
Now that would've been interesting ...

Slept in till 10am, had a croissant for breakfast, sat in the garden with a book for an hour, went for a walk, did some work, had lunch, did a bit more work while an idea was in my head, read more of my book, had a cup of tea and a piece of cake, did some creative writing, watched Doctor Who, had a barbeque and then wrote a bit more while watching Easy Virtue.

Very nice day, hope to repeat it tomorrow.

Gorgeous day here. Yet I had to work today but managed to bugger off at half Six.
Then over to the Leeds cruise (None Euro box). Enough petrolheads there to drink the Exon Valdeas dry.
I think today was Tit Monday!

Stop it, stop it now.

I spent all day yesterday and the day before playing removal man for my step daughter. Glorious sunny warm day, would have been great to enjoy it, bit of hooning with the roof down, maybe a pint in a pub garden...but no. Today will be spent indoors putting up new blinds etc etc etc... and now I read this thread. Its just not fair.
