Women and the phrase 'It's FREEZING'
Discussion
[rant]Why do women use this phrase ALL the time. The slightest breeze, sub 20-degree temperature or bit of shade and 'It's FREEZING/I'm FREEZING' comes leaping out.
Why? I see no ice or snow! It might be chilly, nippy or even god forbid, cold, but it's hardly f
king FREEZING now is it? I can't sit all day with frosty the snowman happy as larry next to me, frozen sausages the same at 5pm as they were at 9am can I? I could if it actually WAS freezing.

Time of the month?
Nope, all the time. Mine is either "freezing" and trying to worm her feet into my socks, or too hot to even contemplate moving some of the duvet off her.Yes, in the winter I wear socks in bed. I'm 6'8" and my feet stick over the end of the bed. When I can afford a bigger bed, and a bigger house to put it in, I will stop this hugely un-sexy practice.

Girls can always put more clothes on and jump around to warm up. (It's better if they jump around to warm up then put clothes on though.)
There comes a time when we can't take any more off to cool down though. (Depends on whether we have people round as to how far I can go.)
Also, if I'm too hot, I leave sweaty marks everywhere, if a girl is to cold, this isn't normally the case because they always seem to find a grotty old Kleenex from somewhere to wipe their nose on. (Never to blow it though, God forbid they clear out the snot.)
How many more stereotypes can we hit this morning?

I turned the heating off at the weekend. The back of our house is south facing so the bathroom, back bedroom, dining room and kitchen were sweltering. I'm talking tropical conditions. Even the cat had to move to the front of the house and she generally likes basking in the sun.
I noticed it had magically turned iteself back on Monday morning

It's common enough, my OH is often "cold" in the house whilst I am thinking it's quite hot. Women appear to feel the cold more than men, I assume this is from our Darwinism and the woman staying at home near the fire to look after the kids and sort out the food whilst the man goes out into the cold/wet weather and hunts.
I know it is sexist, but I still find that in most couples (as in the different sex couples) you talk to the woman always moans she is cold and the man is always hot. The woman is usually found hovering by the thermostat...
