I have been sat in the quacks reception for a couple of hours this morning waiting for blood tests and I keep underestimating how rude or vacant people are.

One couple come in a young girl about 17 years old very pretty but about 6 months pregenant, followed in by her pissy knob head partner with his jeans round his arse. Which is enough to make hate him already but this knob cheese has taken this look one step further by attaching braces to his trendy baggy jeans, and then fastened them under his crotch. At what point did he think I look really good?

One delightfull chav waddled pushing one of her soon to be increased spawn in. Then shouted out "Is this the midwifes" and no pardon me or excuse me just blurted it out at me. and when I said "I think you want room 2" just got a "wot" back of her. She was the sort of person who would benifit from being sterlised as you wouldnt want her in the shallow end of the gene pool.

The 3rd one to bug me was a chap in his 70's who was just plain rude to the nurse. complaining that he had been seen to and "your late" at her. I would of expected a bit more in the way of mannors from the gent as he was well spoken and dressed well. One felt he should of known better.

Where as a country did we go wrong?

I hate this too but apparently it looks perfectly normal...

I'm 25 and asked a female friend of mine if this "look" was ridiculous in her opinion and she said no, it was perfectly normal. She's a cute, normal (isn't a hippy and doesn't dress like a mentalist) 23 year old girl...i concurred that i must be getting old or have clearly not grasped how to use a belt correctly (and i polish my shoes....nobody seems to do that either)

I'm only 26 and tend to wear jeans around my waist too. Maybe we are just getting old too quick. Comparing myself to a lot of others I know my age I do seem to be of a generation or two older in terms of my behavior. Similar to the thread a few days ago about young people having no manners.

It's just fashion people. They said the same thing about Teddy boys, Mods, and rockers, Punks, new Romantics, etc... All had 'odd' styles that old folks looked at funny. This is no different.

Horrid after thought ... this fashion was started by choir boys leaving the bishops house in a hurry

one of our young lads at work turned up with his jeans hanging off of his arse so I gave him a massive wedgy.

One of my mates wears hi jeans like this, he learned not to wear them like this when we were in a nightclub a while back and i pulled them down off his arse. Only thing is, his boxers caught on the jeans and came down too laugh

I'm 19 and think that the arse jeans are fecking ridiculous. The further they walk, the further their legs spread apart to stop their trousers falling all the way down. It's funny to watch how far they can walk without pulling them up.

Surely they don't allow someone who can't operate a pair of trousers correctly to go anywhere near something complicated like a blanket?

I'd have the spod painting the grass on the parade ground green.

Don't worry I only gave, I didn't take, that's what makes you a bender.

Gave him a nice reach around for his troubles to thank him though.

Scarily they let him work on aircraft.

Supervised of course.

That trousers round your legs thing. I'm certain that was done as a wind up/bet.

I just cant believe people are still doing it. Or that they ever did.

I saw a young chap at the weekend who's jeans were that low that you could see right through the gap between his legs. As my friend pleasantly put it "complete with fluff and morning dew". They were those daft tight jeans that people seem to borrow off their sisters these days. If you can't pull the damn things over your arse, why are you wearing them?

And here I was thinking it was those baggy jeans "hanging low" look mostly.

I hate tight jeans - they're so bloody uncomfortable! Looks ace on females though.
