Ready to get flamed for this, but I really need some PH help. Looking to buy some diamond stud earrings for our wedding anniversary (budget around £1k), and haven't a clue where to look. Walked around a few local jewelry shops and realised that there are so many variations in diamonds, and each of the shops seem to have their own certification process.

Any ideas?

There are a few threads about this already. Not meaning to sound too obvious but search a for "diamond earings" brings up quite a few threads.

Go to a decent looking jewellers on the high street that has seats to have your discussion with the sales person.

Avoid anywhere that has very full windows or a "cash for gold" style banner anywhere.

Avoid anywhere that has staff with a more gold on than Mr. T.

You'll pay for getting good service, but it will be worth it. With earings, discuss their returns policy thoroughly incase she doesn't like them.

Speak to Nightmare on here - Howard. He's just made some cracking earrings up for my Mrs. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

And on that note ...apologies for being rude and not thanking you earlier Lord Summerisle for the info you did give me...
