I've got a fancy dress party at the weekend and strangely the theme is the London Underground... I'm guessing that means something based around one of the Stations?!

Rule Number 1. I am not going as Cock Fosters
Rule Number 2. I really don't want to look a (total) fool

Any good ideas that are not too tricky?

Bank? Go as a cash point. Or go as Liverpool Street, in the away strip?

Green Park? Then you're just green and covered in grass (and litter?)

Strap a nice thick slice of ham to the palms of each of your hands and periodically slap your hands together.

Baker St - go either as a Baker or as Sherlock Holmes
Oval - very simple!
Angel...
Arsenal, Watford, Queens Park, Wimbledon - footie kits
Paddington - Bear
Hanger Lane - lots of coat hangers
Heathrow - plane

We did this.

Some of the simpler costumes were...

Hanger lane - chap had a white t-shirt with a road drawn on it and a wire coat hanger sewn into it.

Goldhawk - found a t-shirt with a gold hawk on the front

Angel - easy

Shepherd’s Bush - carried a blow up sheep and a twig

Wimbledon - look like a tennis player

Vauxhall - went to a scrappy and found a Vauxhall badge and stick on a t-shirt

And you know that there is always someone that goes completely overboard and spends a fortune - they went as Elephant & Castle. It was massively elaborate, but a bit silly as well.

Oval has got to be a piece of cake, just go in whites (add massive 'tashe and cloth cap for comedy value)
