I don't mean insects / bugs / flies etc.
Small animals upwards.

Not really sure why I'm interested but have you ever killed anything?
If so what, how and why?

I killed a mouse with an air gun once as it was behind the washing machine and my parents were bored of chasing it round the utility room. I also once shot a pigeon with an air rifle because, well just because they annoy me.

If no one else owns up to anything, I'm booking myself in with a psychiatrist

Do you eat 'normal' everyday pigeons, or are they specially bred ones for eating?

Shot a rabbit with an air rifle (would have been for food purposes had it not had myxi) last year, narrowly missed out on another two (ccensoredp stalking technique), I have also run over/hit the following in my car: -

Wood Pigeon; that hit the windscreen at 50mph - scary.
Collared dove; dumb thing just walked across in front of me doing 40mph.
Rat; ran over it.

Nope, never killed a living animal. Although if someone would kindly lend me a gun I would love to shoot the ring neck doves that sit on the fence cooing and waking me up at stupid o clock every morning.

I was taught how to snare and skin rabbits in my teens so a few rabbits to eat that's about it

Have also had a bird impact the windscreen at 60, quite scary but I reckon the bird topped itself rather than me killing it smile

Seems as it would appear quite a lot of you shoot.

When I'm using the air gun, how best do you line up the sites, as in how do you want to be aimed at your target?
(This is clearly unclear)

Do you want the 'point' at the end of the barrel level with the po of the sight that's closer to the other end?

I haven't shot for a while scratchchin

Ran over a cat once, I actually ended up skidding into a field to try to avoid it.

Never again, just run the bds over.
