Lost London Marathon Medal - can anyone help?

A bit of a long shot this, but PH has come to the rescue for me and so many others in the past...

Somebody very special to me completed the marathon on Sunday but managed to lose their medal after the finish, and is understandably upset.

The contact number for VLM is either permanently engaged or lines are closed. Does anybody here work for them or know if it will be possible to get the medal replaced (I'll happily pay for it) or know an alternative way of getting in touch?

Drop an e-mail to the organisers... address is on the website with the name of the person, their finish time and running number. I'm not suggesting that your friend is trying to get the medal without running it, but they are quite careful about giving out the medals, so the more information you can give the better. Good luck!
