Friend is looking for a bloody big tank for an Iquana, all I know is they're looking for something around 8x4x3 feet and aren't having much luck in this country.

This being Pistonheads I figured someone will have some suggestions (other than making it into shoes)?

If they live in Essex or near there, a good place called Wiltons in Pitsea (assuming they are still there) will likely be able to help.

I've always made my own vivariums for larger reptiles, as it's much cheaper than buying them (if you can find anywhere that sells them in the first place). It's no harder than making a (large) cupboard.

For an Iguana I'd recommend using wire mesh for the doors rather than glass, as they're quite hefty lizards and I imagine they could probably break the glass pretty easily if they jumped at it (which they probably will).

Incidentally, a fully grown Iguana will be at least 5 feet long, so your friend is eventually going to need a far larger vivarium than you've specified.
