Watching The Munsters as a little lad there was a scene where Eddy Munster is at the gate fending off a door-to-door cosmetics salesman:

Salesman: "So no one in your family uses cosmetics?"
Eddy: "Grandpa uses preservative."
Salesman: "Is that to keep young?"
Eddy: "No. It's just to keep."

I've tried to live up to that gag ever since.

Watching Rik and Ade in Bottom from a very young age (I think I must have barely been 10 when I saw a grainy VHS copy of the first live show). Pseudo-intelligent toilet humour at its absolute finest!

I got my Sense of Humour from my dad. Sadly. Hence the reason why I still think Airplane and Hot Shots are funny.

Nope, was the first one, Eddie hams it remorselessly on the line 'Dont...you...ever...yearn......for change??' which leads to about 10 minutes off script.

The f*ck ups were arguably as funny as some of the scripted humour. I don't think I can remember two comedians who have enjoyed such obvious chemistry since...
