I was just wondering if, anyone can suggest any books that have given them a superior knowledge on how to do said thing? It can be on any subject like, Driving, Business, Pulling, Poker, Car mechanics, IT, etc...

Doyle Brunson's Super System

I feel I became a far superior player after reading it.

Robert T Kiyosaki. Good books for a far better way to look at your own finances, but you'd be wise to google him before following his stated strategies.

It certainly reinforced a different way of looking at things although it isn't exactly a blueprint for how to make millions... but I can't remember if it actually said it was or not. I did find it thought-provoking.

it's not how good you are, it's how good you want to be, by paul arden.

ex saatchi & saatchi director. its about pushing yourself, being creative and getting ahead. not at all gimmicky, takes about half an hour to read cover to cover.

Robert Greene's Laws of Power and Strategies of War are pretty good, if you can look past the slghtly highbrow nature and muster up the concentration; they're sometimes a little hard to follow.

That's quite useful. Try "Ask And It Is Given" if you find The Secret useful.

I had some of the "Bluffers Guide To..." books a while ago. Fun and quite useful. Lost them in a move though so can't tell you who they are by I'm afraid.
