For a last day with your recently departed, to say the things you never said...

It's with St. Nick mind, so you'd have to deal with the fallout

Would you, would you?

Why is a deal with the devil seen as a bad thing? What exactly did the devil do that was so awful, and how does it compare with the other fellow? Was it not the devil that wanted to give man knowledge of good and evil, etc, in the garden of evil? I think the devil gets a bad rap.

"Deal with the Devil" pretty much means eternity in Hell with a spike (or worse) up you. There isn't much he could offer me that would sound like a good trade.

If you mean a more realistic "deal with someone not very nice, but the terms are good, and you do get Natalie Portman thrown in" then maybe.

If you believe in the Devil then stands to reason you belive in God and one of the religions. So you either believe in reincarnation or heaven & hell.

In which case you will get a chance to speak to the recently departed sooner or later so no deal is required.

Obviously no, you had years enough with them to tell them what you truly felt. If in all that time you didn't have the balls to say it, why bother now? Especially if it's going to cost your immortal soul.

Says who? You're assuming the other fellow is telling the truth, (forgetting the fact that the other fellow created the devil, and hell, and the spike... Are you so sure the other fellows place is THAT nice?)

Nope. Don't think either of them exist. But I'm happy to speculate.

Especially if Portman is on the table.

But you assume it in your argument, whether you think they exist or not. I would more than happily have a deal with a non existent entity in exchange for a bit of Portman! I'm playing devils advocate, (excuse the pun), a bit, really. All we really know of 'heaven' is what the supporters tell us, and what we know of hell comes from them too. It's a bit like asking labour supporters if tory policies are a good thing.

Hell, yes (puntastic).

I'm already going there anyway - as is anyone who laughed at anything vaguely controversial - so who cares?

Honestly? No. I would love the opportunity, but would rather be with my lost ones for eternity than for a day and spend the rest of my time in hell.

Since you have mentioned the Devil, I will mention God. I will also mention the Bible as the source for answers to questions such as this one.

Rather than answer it yourself?

Par for the course, really.

It would depend on the deal.

If I could negotiate a good deal it might be alright, I am sure the devil is not as bad as he is made out to be, he might be a pretty cool chap.

Of course he just might be a figment of some people's imagination.

Erm, St Nick was the basis for Santa Claus and I might be persuaded to do a deal with him.

Nasty Nick was on Big Brother and I probably wouldn't do a deal with him.

Old Nick, was the Devil, and I definitely wouldn't do a deal with him.

Doesn't god forgive everyone though? Bit contradicting
