Is everyone getting angrier at the moment - and if so, why?
Discussion
Don't know if anyone else has noticed this phenomenon recently, or if it is just something I have noticed.
I generally have a lot of dealings with the general public, and recently have noticed that people are generally becoming more agressive and ruder at the slightest things. Definately worse than 4 or 5 years ago for sure.
Not all of these incidents have been directed at me, or indeed have even involved me, but it is wierd to witness people getting angry or going to pieces over the sligest thing. Recently, I have had a couple of people go absolutely mental at me for leaflet dropping their house (no signs, no "no junk mail" signs), someone attacked a friend of mine for not giving them a 5% discount for a voucher that was 5 months out of date, friends business had a customer go mental after they politely asked them for payment for goods recieved when the payment was weeks late as it is.
Just bizarre.
Is this the stress of the economic climate that is turning otherwise normal people into a
holes, or is this a trend that is likely to get worse?
Kind of saddended by it really. Even if you strike up a converstaion with someone now you are viewed with suspicion.

Had a woman go mental in the queue behind me in McDonalds yesterday when she discovered they had no ice cream left.
"Next time put a notice on the bloody door!" she yelled before she stomped off after queuing for all of three minutes. The guys behind the counter just laughed.
The fact that this McDonalds is right next door to a service station with a freezer full of ice cream and a smoothie maker as well obviously hadn't surfaced on her radar.

Would a sign make a difference? I ask because junk mail and flyers are a pet hate of mine. I've never bothered with a sign as I thought most leaflet droppers will ignore it.Recently, I have had a couple of people go absolutely mental at me for leaflet dropping their house (no signs, no "no junk mail" signs)
Peace and love.

I was really anger last week for a few days....and that is just not me. People at work even noticed, and asked what was wrong.
Come Friday, and an afternoon in the pub, I was back to 'happy larry' myself
You're usually on your webcam when you 'happy larry' yourself, aren't you?Come Friday, and an afternoon in the pub, I was back to 'happy larry' myself
