Wait till it grows to about 15 feet high - that'll show those cocky sods that they're not as clever as they think they are wink

Any ideas on how they were bred? Gentically changed or just breeding the smallest elephants together to produce smaller off-spring and repeating.

If it is the latter then we have been doing it for years with horses, cats and dogs.

Just waiting for the 'How can I stop my neighbour's miniature Elephant from sleeping on my MX5 roof' thread.

(The answer, for all the 'why can't my miniature Elephant sleep & crap where it pleases drama queens' is obviously: Blunderbuss.)

Errrm. The human race has been selectively breeding plant and animal species for particular characteristics for millenia. Every time you sit down to a chicken dinner or cut into a loaf of bread you are tasting the product of that. Faster horses, sheep with finer wool, wolves that could cohabit with humans became dogs to assist with hunting.

Is there a difference? Not sure there is...

Hmm, I should think "cute", but it looks kind of creepy.
I can imagine how they did it though, cross bred a small elephant with Eddie Jordan.
