Does anyone know how much is my piano worth and how should I go about selling it? Thanks ...

A grand.

(That was a very poor piano based joke and not a true reflection on its worth.)

Small ads, gumtree, ebay etc.
"Piano - free to good home, buyer collects."

Lots of people like them if only as a piece of furniture. Also good for people with kids just starting out.

Unfortunately uprights tend to be pretty much worthless because a tuneup and a restring will cost more than a new one.

Edit: It looks lovely though. If it works fine and is in tune I'd keep it!

If all else fails - Axe & Sledgehammer = Lots of noise & fun...fully recommended.

A bit messy to clean up, but what the hell. Then chuck it into garden and set on fire, oh yessss biggrin

Got to be careful, if you get caught by a snapping string it can kill you quite easily. Piano strings are very tightly strung.

If I remember rightly, someone on here purchased a build-it-yourself-piano-kit. Perhaps, if they never succeeded with the build, they might consider the purchase of yours. Anyone else remember the thread? biggrin

ETA: It was Olf.

If its full size, it might be worth about 88 notes. Or something on that sort of scale.

I think we sold ours for about £250. It was a good one so quote a disappointment. They are bloody hard to sell though

I rang a couple of Piano dealers from Yellow pages who viewed and bought.
