As the title says really, I'm looking for a decent first-date location in the Dunstable/Leighton Buzzard area. I don't know that area very well despite living in Milton Keynes.

Anybody got any (decent remember... hehe) suggestions?

CW7 will be along in a moment to offer a full "first date" review.

Think I'd head for Woburn. Has a more romantic atmosphere than Dunstable or LB.

Sort of. I'll be in the bushes to keep an eye on things with my purple mate.

That's the one I was trying to think of. Someone suggested it on the Match.com thread when I was planning on taking you-know-who out.

But you settled for a 'Two for one Big Breakfast' at Morrissons, yes?

As said, the birch, the carrington, or try the swan at Salford- about 10 mins from junction 14.
The swan would get my vote- superb food, good atmoshere and not too steep either. Also a nice garden should the weather allow
