April's Pay-per-Post rate

I just wanted to check with other PH'ers if they had noticed a change in the rate they've been paid for April?

Just looked at my statement:

PH Statement said:

Date: April 2010
Posts: 308
Rate: 9.2
Total paid: £28.34

When I signed up, the rate was 10p per post and I've never received notification of the rate reducing. Is it something to do with VAT? I know I'm only down about £2.50 but every little helps!

I have actually had a rate increase, perhaps its because I have broken the 25 posts a month barrier for the first time.


ETA Or indeed because I have passed 500 posts.

They seem to have changed the way the calculate the bonus for adding pictures to your posts, have you guys noticed this?

Smileys seem to be paid in the normal way

You might be on to something there. I haven't posted images for a while, because all the image hosting sites are blocked on the firewall here.

I'll drop an email to the PH accounts team, just wanted to check with you lot first. I would have thought we were all on the same rate.

You and Mazda Bloke may have exceeded the 'too many posts, too soon' limit, this flags your profile to HM who can drop your rate accordingly, I think the lowest rate is in the 'no life, surfaholic' sector, who have had a 70% reduction.

No increments for me though, post rate has dropped off a bit over the past few months, difficult to maintain the targets they set IMO.

I was on the understanding that if an old thread that you started is resurrected you got paid again. Repeat fees, if you will.

I get lumped in with G'kar. That's truely depressing.

They have changed the pay scale now that quoted pictures turn into thumbnails. It's only 25p per quoted picture now.
