I have fancied going to see WWRY at the Theatre for a while. Just never had the time.

I notice that they are putting it on in Southampton next year which make its much easier and cheaper.

Question is presumably this will be a different production that what is at London as they are touring Manchester as well.

Will it be roughly as good or should I save it for London?

Has anyone seen the touring version?

(I am assuming its not the London version touring around)

Go and see it! It's a great show. Ok, I've only seen it in London but I can't see it being vastly different. If you haven't seen the London version, you're not really going to know the difference.

Saw it in London a few weeks back and I wasn't very impressed. Lacklustre performance from the male lead was barely made up for by the eye candy in the female chorus line.

Agreed.
I watched it in London a few years back and left at the interval.

Was the male lead the American guy?

Saw it with my other half in Jan, both really enjoyed it, not a stellar performance by a couple, but the rest more than made up for it. Good bit of humour, excellent musicians, innovative stage.

And the eye candy was fking stunning from the balcony!!

Saw it in Birmingham and although not the best show I have ever seen it was a good night out. Worth the money and effort of getting to Birmingham...........just.

Saw it in London, just don't get too near the front as they will drip sweat on you, of course you may like that?

Saw this last month. What a crock of ste it was. Poor old Freddy must be turning in his grave. It's like Queen meets High School Musical. I wasn't rocked, or even mildly stirred for that matter.

I thought WWRY was good but Oliver was brilliant, the cast esp Griff Rhys Jones tremendous, the songs and the sets were fantastic.
