Peaches Geldof
Discussion
I'm sorry but it's that time again, the time for wholly pointless ranting about the talentless and the irritating.
Now, I realise it's my own fault for reading sites like Holy Moly et al, and that I'm ascribing far too much importance to something that makes no difference to my life and that whining on about it won't change anything and that I can easily not read about her but ... it's like sticking your fingers in candle wax; you know it's stupid, you know it's going to hurt, you know you'll regret it but still you have to do it.
Other irritating s
ts I can live with, and usually seem have something to "do" (hell even Paris Hilton has done something worthwhile), she just "is" and "is" for absolutely no f
king, demonstrable reason whatsof
kingever.
"Peaches Geldof is the absolute pro at acting like a spoilt brat. However, she somehow managed to outdo herself last night. Ray-Ban were launching a new pair of sunglasses and had invited a whole bunch of celebrities (and Peaches Geldof) down to help them out. Or, at least, that was the plan...
Basically, in return for the invite - and no doubt plenty free gifts - the attendees were asked to model the sunglasses on the red carpet. So the entire purpose of the event was to show the world their new product and get some famous folks to endorse it.
But, in typical fashion, Peaches kicked up a s
t storm and refused to wear the sunglasses when asked.
How much of a hassle is it to put on a pair of glasses, stand in front of a board and pose for a photo? When you're Peaches Geldof, it's the biggest hassle in the world. This photo is great, though. Nothing says 'what a f
king
' like the the look on that woman's face."

All right...
I made the mistake of replying to a cunningly disguised pyramid scam by Chris Cardell. Ever since I've been bombarded with junk mail from him, trying to get me to spend money with him.
Just a couple of days ago, I had Bob Geldoff, on the phone. I'm sure it was an automated message, but he was telling me how great Chris is, and how I should spend my money on them. If I didn't, I'd be resigned to obscurity.
The bottom line, is that these people are money, power and marketing obsessed.
If Peaches didn't wear the Ray Bans, it's because daddy told her there would be controversy if she didn't. Daddy said that there is more money in controversy, than in meek and mild. For example this thread wouldn't exist, if she had seen fit to perch the shades on her conk.
