I have just completed Land End to John O'Groats cycle ride and now looking for the next challenge. I am not to worried if it is not a cycle challenge, I am jsut after somthing that I dont need to raise mega money for Chairty as with my ride I enjoyed the organizing as well.

Any ideas most welcome.

Thanks

Everest without oxygen up or down. Many don't consider it properly done if you rely on it.

But pogo stick... well, you can have all the oxygen you want.

A friend of mine did London to Morocco bike riding for Charity - certainly looked like a lot of fun but bloody hardwork !

What about Arch to Arc?

I've done it a few times and it's getting a bit too easy now...

"The event starts with an 87 mile run from London's Marble Arch to the Dover coast, then the athlete must swim across the English Channel to the French coast, and finally the athlete finishes with a 181 mile bike from Calais to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris."

I'm thinking of doing the last stretch on a unicycle next time, just to harden it up a bit.

Everest porter job for a day. Carry 60kg of crap to Everest Base Camp without crying for mummy. Or do it for just $10 as a salary.

I'm about to start ticking off the highest peak in every county (will start again from scratch)- seems like a good opportunity to travel this beautiful isle of ours and see some places I'd never thought of going to. Not a charity thing I suppose as it will probably take a fair while, but should be fun.

If you are looking to go bike based, a big continental sportive is probably a good one to try - especially if you follow cycling - I'm riding the Paris-Roubaix one next week and can't wait to watch the pros do it next year while saying "i've ridden that" at every available opportunity.

You could always do the Ironman thing, it will be a huge time investement though, plus, not exactly cheap.

This guy is running from the Top of Scotland to Paris, and doing Parkour/freerunning in each city he reaches. He's raising money for motor neurone disease.

http://stickyparkour.com/BlogNew/

He started with a 100mile ultra marathon. Top work.
