The irritating thing is that some arsewits are telling landlords to do this. They're probably white, middle class, middle aged gits. What would they do if a Muslim turned up at his local wearing an England shirt? Would surprise me, when I had to serve the knuckle-dragging neanderthal-like football fans at the last world cup, muslims born in England with english accents seemed to adopt Brazil as their nation to support 
Out of interest though, when I worked in the pub trade it was a blanket ban on ALL football (whether local,national etc) shirts purely to prevent the morons finding a reason to play "hardmen" and resorting to fighting eachother after half a pint of Stella.
However back to the OP, what are the roads like in Latvia ?
