Purchased a pair of prescription Sunglasses around 4 weeks ago, and the right hand lens fell out over the weekend.

I took the glasses back to the optician where they were done very quickly - in an "express" time you may say so my "vision" wasn't impaired for too long.

Last night the other lens has now fallen out. What is the best course of action.

Ask for a replacement pair?

Accept the fix for a day or two?

Demand Compensayshun?

I am going somewhere hopefully sunny tuesday and will be rather peeved if they break while I am away.

Should have gone to Specsavers

There's your answer then. wink

Not sure why lenses fell out - cheap sunglasses, shoddy job, something loose?
I'd ask for replacement pair, see how you get on.

Not cheap - what glasses are. They are prescription jobbies.

Should I keep the existing to confirm they have actually replaced the glasses though?

Tell them to fix it & get on with your life

I like vision express. I needed a new pair of giggs before I went away & as normal I left it far later than I should have so I took my prescription to them, they had the lense in stock, I picked a frame & they were ready to be picked up an hour later

Agreed - They knocked mine out in an hour aswell. But that haven't exactly lasted. Seeing as they have already been repaired once, what is satisfactory.

I don't want anything Free. Just what I paid for that will last.

Fair enough. I know high street prices are steep.

Only if they'll let you keep them? Don't think you'd be entitled to a refund after 4 weeks time, but what do I know? Definately push to get it sorted.

Just pop in to ask them to repair. If it's the other lens that's fallen out the second time it might just be the same issue that was fixed last time on the other side.

Switch to contact lenses and buy non-prescription sunglasses.

If its any consolation the 'other' opticians are a load of old ste as well, I've had this exact problem with them, including the lens popping out while I was driving!

Afraid not

Ted Baker glasses. Just seems a bit of a school boy error seeing as there is only 2 screws to put in.

Fixed now. Can't complain. (Yet)

Apologies. With all the talk of short sleeved shirts and brown shoes recently I was under the impression that reputation/pride was now overlooked wink
