Only yesterday I discover Johnny attempting to blend a smoothie in the lidless blender. "Use a plate" I suggest, "It'll be fine" he replies...

Fortunately I'm never grossed out by  his tasty yoghurty goodness erupting over my walls... wink

This however Exhibit A

has left me wondering what sort of person tips their snacks directly on to the work surface?!?

I propose had the OP chosen to use a plate, or a small bowl at a push, she would not have found herself chewing on a toe nail.

Does anyone have any table manners anymore? Have we become a nation obsessed with Knorks, Sporks, and eating direct from the sideboard? Step away from your keyboard with your coffee and for the sake of the children, let's consider returning to dining at the table with proper cutlery and decent British values.

Any comment I made right now about wanting to see your knorks would be completely inappropriate so I'll resist. hehe
