nuisance calls/phone jamming

have been recieving a call from a local number every 10 mins all day and its driving me mad! when i return the call its just a series of strange clicks but not like a fax machine. is it possible to keep ringing a number and jam the line? being a works number this is seriously going to grate! as usual bt as helpful as a kick in the bollacks!!

If your line is BT, insist they take action. They have a nuisance call bureau who deal with this type of thing...
