James corden v Patrick Stewart
Discussion
Now i really don't like James Corden at all. He's a man with little talent from what i can see. Very fortunate to have had the success that he's had....but i think what Patrick Stewart said was frankly beneath him.

From people there it seems the jist was that corden was getting paid good money to just call out names and stand back with his hands in his pockets, gut hanging out...hardly MC of the year. Stewart...with a few glasses of wine...called him out and Corden showed he's been spending too much time around retarded sportsmen and went all "promising footballer" on him.
dirty boy said:
Corden.
No idea what made Stewart want to say that.
I like both for what it's worth
Same as. What brought that on?No idea what made Stewart want to say that.

I know Corden isnt too popular amongst our pages - but I think he's okay... not so keen on his skinny mate though.

Shame.
I like Patrick Stewart, but that appeared like he was fishing to gain the alpha male position by publicly embarrassing Corden there, which has lead to them both looking complete muppets.
Nothingworth worse than a 'war of stern words'.

I didn't see Patrick trying to score points, I see him as trying to embarrass Corden into doing a better job, he alluded to the fact that he didn't seem interested in the guests and was not dressed properly. Strikes me that he was just pissed off the Corden is so popular yet just "phoning" his appearance in!
Can't see the video but I'm guessing it's just old-school vs new school.
I've never found Corden particularly funny, and the Comic (Sport?) Relief thing he did where he was pretending to coach the England team was cringe-inducing and one of the unfunniest comedy sketches I've ever seen.
