Seems like /b have contacted the local police force too.
Hopefully even if its idle threats they will still get recognized and busted.

If the person in question posted the same on their Facebook/MySpace etc a month from now, then yeah, maybe cause for concern. Otherwise, tell them to fk off and stop being an attention seeker.

Given how good 4chan in general seems to be at spilling things like that out into the real world, I wouldn't be surprised if those two ended up in a police station this morning explaining themselves.

That being said - I didn't realise that there were browsers of /b/ posting here? Don't most people outgrow it at 14? I mean, I can understand sticking with the sub-boards there for a few years (I used to browse a few), but /b/ is just full of children.

don't you remember the guy who joked on Twitter about bombing an airport during the snow? He got arrested etc. I'd say this threat appears more serious than that, ie it's not openly obvious that it's ajoke. There's no harm calling plod as they can now react as they see fit.
