Ideas needed

Hi Mods, if you could leave this here just for a bit as I'm pretty sure it will get the best response!

After my other thread about picking flatmates it appears my other current housemate is going to do the dirty on me and wants to leave asap as he has decided he doesn't want to be there while easrning such a wk military wage, leaving me on my own with a flat that costs £1400 to rent each month.

Now in November I'm going to be moving in with someone else, but do you guys have any idea where to find rooms for short periods? 3 months is what I'd be looking at from the end of July through till November, I can't afford to pay £50 a night in a B&B and I can't live back at home for that time as its too far away and would cost a fortune to get to work!

I'm in SW london if that helps, I've looked on gumtree and there doesn't seem to be many 3 month lets out there as that is all I will need.

Anyone got any ideas or places to look to help a ph'er out of a sticky situation?

Seems it would cost £270 on trains each month to get me here, about the same as it would from basingstoke, a bit too much I think, unless I'm doing it wrong soemwhere as it does seem a lot!

I'm not likley to be looking till August 1st, so you guys with rooms to let, I would imagine you'd have let them by then.

Hope that was a nice flat £1400 p. month wow. I know London has it's own price banding but still (actually didn't you have a problem neighbour?)

It was alright, it was a 3 bed flat, its cheap for what it is, it should be £1500 imo.
