Hi All,

Just seeing if anyone has any good advise for parking/getting to wimbledon tomorrow. Have to drive as dropping off kids with grandparents and will be coming into London from the M4

We ususlly park in one of the park and rides advertised and get the bus to the ground however it is a bit of a pain as we are essentially driving past where we need to be.

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions on getting there. i.e. park somewhere and get tube in?

thank you.

You could take the A3 into town, then hit the free parking all along Wildcroft Road, Putney. (sw153tp) turn off at Tibbetts corner.

To get to the venue, there's a bunch of buses into Wimbledon from the Green Man pub terminus (15mins, along Wimbledon common / 'park side road' )

Cheers,

I wish I had seen your post earlier. My daughter used to do all the VIP parking for the AA. Looks like it'll be too late now, but for future reference and anyone else, this link might help.

Good luck, and enjoy the strawberries.

There are no parking restrictions on Gap Road usually, so park there and wander up.

I just used google maps streetview on the area north of the courts all the way to the A3. Looks like very little in the way restrictions on parking.
