Lockerz WTF is it?
Discussion
There is something new out there, a site called Lockerz, and i have no idea what it is.
It looks to be some closed social networking site where you get points or credits for stuff and can make some sort of money.
There is even galleries of unboxings, which is think is people getting stuff for free, or after doing some crap on the net.
From the outside, it looks like a pyramid scheme...

Imagine Quickquid. A website full of offers from different well known companys. When you select an offer from QuickQuid it redirects you to the official companys website. The company, lets say ASDA recognises that QuickQuid referred them the customer, therefore pays QuickQuid a small fee, a portion of this is passed onto the customer in the form of a discount, or cashback.
These new sites popping up are similar.
You log into 'Lockerz' and it has links to a number of offers, lets say Lovefilm.com free trials, Bet365 free Bets, Sony Intrest free TV etc.
For each offer you sign up for, you recieve 1 point.
But, for each offer you sign up for, the company (LoveFilm / Bet365 etc) pays Lockerz a small fee for the referral. Much similar to these cashback websites apart from Lockerz will keep all the cashback instead of giving it to you.
Once you have signed up to 20 offers. (Or referred a friend to an offer, thus still recieving a point) the website Lockers has effectivly 20 cashback payments from various different companys and can now afford to buy you an ipod, a stereo, a tv etc etc leaving themselves with a small profit.
Hope this all makes sense.
