Aquatic Mammal? How stupid are people?
Discussion
My sone works at a wildlife rescue centre/hospital as a volunteer. Last week they had an albino hedgehog brought in..............in a bucket of water!
Apparently the finder found the hedgehog swimming in their pond, assumed it lived in water so put it in a bucket of water to take it to the rescue centre.
Poor hedgehog was knackered from hours of swimming but seems ok.
After 44 years of life, I have to say that this was one of the most staggeringly stupid and ignorant things I have encountered (away from public roads that is)
How stupid are some people?

While not wishing to disagree about the stupidity of these hedgehog rescuers, your title reads as if you think there is no such thing as an aquatic mammal.
I for one, refuse to acknowledge the existence of dolphins. And, the outcome of a hedgehog in a bucket of water? A hedgehog that can now tread water -which may save its life one day.
